Alisa Fritzhand is a licensed, and certified, Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience, who specializes in infant feeding and communication. She graduated with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and, post-graduation, became a certified lactation counselor. She formerly worked in New York providing clinical care and graduate-level supervision at the Westchester Institute for Human Development. In addition, she served as a covering clinician at both Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (supporting feeding in the premature and medically fragile populations) and Greenwich Hospital as part of their multidisciplinary feeding team. Alisa recently opened an office in Woodstock Vermont for in-person visits, and continues to provide Telehealth services for those at farther distances, providing infant feeding care to support positive feeding experiences during the first year of life. Alisa values a holistic and collaborative approach to feeding care. Her ultimate goal is to empower all families dealing with infant feeding challenges, common or complex, by providing compassionate care that supports strong bonds and healthy development.
Outside of her professional career, Alisa most values spending time with her two children and husband, getting involved in her community, and taking photographs. Being a parent has been her greatest joy in life and she loves learning about each family she meets!
